Febuary 26, 2012 - It's Been Awhile!
Wow, well let me start off by saying we've been very busy. We played at Toad's Place on February 20th for the Amity Teen Center's Annual Benefit Show. The show was awesome, put simply.

We are still in the studio recording our first album. Things are coming along well. We have the drums recorded for four songs. Guitars, bass, and vocals are coming along. We anticipate having the album completed sometime in May. We are currently looking to book more shows. If you're interested in booking us, please send and email to Booking@Noveltyeffect.com

January 7, 2012 - Shows, Studios, And Demos
Have you been wondering where we have been? Well, we've been pretty busy getting some new songs together and rerecording a few of our other songs. We purchased some recording gear and have been making new demos in the basement. It's not necessarily the best sounding stuff, but it's better than what we had. We will be heading into a professional recording studio this month. We had a few setbacks in December due to scheduling issues, so we will find ourselves in the studio sometime soon. As far as shows go, we have 3 shows coming up. One is tonight at the Amity Teen Center, 10 Seldon ST, Woodbridge, CT. The second show is also at the ATC, on January 13th. This is the Battle of The Bands finals and we need everyone to show up! Finally, on February 20th, we will be playing at TOAD'S PLACE! Make sure you come out to see this one. You wont want to miss it.

December 1, 2011 - Studio Bound
We will be entering the recording studios during the second week of December! We are very excited to start production of our first studio album. We plan on keeping everyone updated via Noveltyeffect.com, Facebook, and Twitter. Big thanks to our producer/engineer Michael Galgano. Stay tuned for pictures, video, and blogs.

UPDATE! - Novelty Effect is in the finals!
We won first place tonight and will be playing in the finals at Toads Place! Check back here for more details!

November 4, 2011 - Novelty Effect will be playing at the Amity Teen Center's Battle of The Bands! We are going on at 8:05PM. Tickets will be only $10! That's not alot right? September 30, 2011 - New Songs & Gear! We are currently in the process of working on some new songs for our upcoming show, as well as, preperation of the recording of our first album. Also, Ryan just got some tasty new cymbals. Want to hear how great they sound? Come check us out on the 21st!
